AndhraPravasi is committed to factual accuracy. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly and explain what changed. Corrections are part of responsible journalism—not an admission of failure, but a promise to our readers.
How to Report an Error
If you believe we published inaccurate information, please contact us with:
- The URL of the article
- The specific sentence or fact you believe is incorrect
- Supporting evidence (official documents, links, or on-the-record sources)
- Your name and contact details (optional, but helps us follow up)

We aim to acknowledge receipt within one business day and resolve straightforward factual errors within 48 hours.
Types of Updates
We use clear labels so readers know what changed:
- CORRECTION: A factual error has been fixed. The incorrect information was wrong at the time of publication.
- UPDATE: New verified information has been added to a developing story. The original reporting was accurate when published.
- CLARIFICATION: Wording has been adjusted for clarity without changing the underlying facts.
- EDITOR'S NOTE: Added when a significant issue affects the integrity or context of the story (e.g., a source dispute or retraction).
Correction Process
- An editor reviews the reader report or internal flag.
- The claim is verified against primary sources or on-the-record confirmation.
- If a correction is warranted, the article is updated with a visible note at the top or bottom of the story.
- Material corrections include the date and time of the change in the article byline and page metadata.
- When an error appears in headlines, social posts, or newsletters, we correct those channels as well.
Retractions
In rare cases where a story cannot be corrected because the underlying premise is false, we may retract the article. Retracted stories remain online with a prominent notice explaining why they were withdrawn. We do not silently delete published work except where required by law or court order.
Archive Policy
Corrected articles remain in our archive with correction notes preserved. We do not rewrite history by removing earlier versions from our internal logs. Public-facing pages show the corrected text with a clear audit trail.
